The project explores the risks and challenges in laparoscopic cholecystectomy, focusing on how the use of 2D imaging leads to a loss of depth perception for doctors, and how factors like infection, obesity, and complex anatomical structures can impede visibility, consequently increasing the risk of injury to surrounding tissues such as the common bile duct and liver.
